How this website is designed
- Text is real text, not images, and can be enlarged to 200% without losing content or function.
- Colours meet WCAG contrast requirements for text, and information is never conveyed by colour alone.
- Every page has one main heading and a logical heading order, and long pages have a contents list.
- Menus, forms, sliders and buttons can be operated with a keyboard, and the focused element is always visible.
- Tables have proper headers and rearrange into stacked rows on small screens.
- Images have text descriptions, or are marked as decorative where they add nothing.
- Animation is minimal and is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The calculator accepts typed values as well as sliders, and screen readers are told when results change.
Known limitations
- Descriptions for some illustrative photographs are still being reviewed.
- Later steps of an enquiry, and any application, are completed with Loans Warehouse, whose website we do not control.
- External sources linked from the guides, including PDFs published by regulators and lenders, may not meet the same standard.
We are working through the issues we know about and will update this statement as they are fixed.
